Michael has over 20 years of professional experience working in human resources and education. As a leader of the Talent Acquisition team at Boston Children’s Hospital, he helped spearhead initiatives focused on equitable hiring practices, diverse talent pipelines, and process improvements. He also has experience leading Employee Resource Groups (ERGs) and facilitating trainings. In addition to his work in human resources, Michael was a special education teacher in Louisiana and the director of an afterschool program in Massachusetts. He earned a B.S. in Human Development & Family Studies from Cornell University. A food enthusiast, Michael has trained his husband not to touch their food at restaurants before he snaps a photo of it for his Instagram.
