she / her
Lexie Thrash is an NYC-based creative thinker currently exploring her artistic voice via: mental health advocacy, dance, yoga instruction, visual art/collage, and ceramics. For the past two years, she worked to support presentation content developers, designers, and executive speaker coaches as a project manager at Duarte – a Silicon Valley based storytelling agency. While there, she co-led the thirty-year-old company’s first-ever employee-led Diversity, Equity and Inclusion Committee, and felt called to continue this work in a deeper way. Lexie has had the pleasure of working administratively alongside artists and arts institutions including: Jacob’s Pillow Dance, The Kitchen, New York Live Arts, Dance/NYC, New England Foundation for the Arts, Doug Varone and Dancers, Ephrat Asherie Dance, Joanna Kotze, Eiko Otake, Alice Sheppard/Kinetic Light, Movement Research, LA Dance Project, Amy Jacobus Marketing, and The Art Therapy Nest. She is the co-founder of dance and film company JACKS with Kelsey Kramer, and has collaborated regularly as a dancer with: Ian Spencer Bell, Debbie Mausner, Mary Falls Kennedy, and visual artist Eric Gottshall. She’s looking forward to starting a new life chapter as a Dance/Movement Therapy grad student at Pratt Institute this Fall 2021.
